While at one time it was good enough to be the "expert" in a couple of towns, now being a great Realtor is about knowing how to apply knowledge and a special set of skills to a wide variety of towns.

Although there are a lot of ways to go about finding or selling a home or investment property, I strongly urge you to make sure you have a professional Realtor working on your behalf. There are so many areas in which I guide and advise my clients. There are a lot of bad things that can happen in a real estate transaction. Fortunately, with my education, experience, and skills, my clients avoid stressful and expensive problems.
Even when working with a professional Realtor, many find buying or selling a home to be very stressful. I empower my clients with information, and I do my best to address issues before they arise while always being ready with answers and words of comfort.
